Letter Lot

Late 1960s/early 1970s lot of 11 letters to Roy Carr, the late English music journalist and editor of NME and Melody Maker. One letter is handwritten by Doug Clifford and the rest are typed and from Jake Rohrer, tour manager and press officer for Creedence Clearwater Revival. Most of the letters are on custom CCR letterhead.

Clifford's letter thanks Carr for a union jack flag. Rohrer's letters reference upcoming projects, some press that Tom Fogerty was unhappy about and a couple of anecdotes about Jim Morison showing up a parties and getting really drunk. Fascinating stuff.

One of the letters has a square cut out of the bottom left corner.

Includes Rockaway Records letter of authenticity.
